RTF Inc. was established in 1972 by its founder, Robert T. Fishpaugh, RLS (Registered Land Surveyor). With hard work and dedication to the process of land development and to his clients, Mr. Fishpaugh was able to instantly build business relationships with professionals from Carroll County. RTF quickly began to make a name for itself as a land surveyor MD businesses can trust, thanks to Mr. Fishpaugh’s traditional managerial outlook on how to do business. One of RTF’s more reputable projects was one that consisted of over 4,000 acres spanning across the county.

After a respectable 33 year career, Mr. Fishpaugh transferred ownership to its primary employees, John E. Lemmerman, Prof-LS and Larry Slonaker. As of January 2005, the existing staff offers over 160 years of experience at this firm. The RTF Surveying Legacy is carried on today as RTF Associates, Inc.
